Started in Australia and now adopted in South Africa, the Equip Book Club helps women read solid Christian books on varying topics, with the aim to equip women for every good work.
We follow the Sydney, Australia Equip Women's Ministry's Equip Book Club system. 12 books are pre-selected for the year, one per month. They are advertised and discussed on their website: http://equipbooks.blogspot.com
Like their Australian counterparts, South African women are starting Equip groups in their churches, women's groups and among their friends. They meet once a month to discuss the book of the month - which is available from Christian Book Discounters (www.christianbooks.co.za) at cost price for that month.
